Columbia River Knife and Tool had a slow start, but in 1998 came out with a small knife called the Witch KISS means Keep It Super Simple. This knife has been designed by Ed Halligan. The kiss was the Columbia River Knife and success of the first tools. KISS outsole held on the first day. This was a great boost to the Columbia River knife and tool.
In 2000 the U.S. Customs knives confiscated some of the value of Columbia River Knife & Tool more than $ 4.3 million. The inspector believed that because the mechanism to assist the opening was as much a knife, even though these blades had thought many ways before, this time they did not. After 17 days CRKT knives came back. Even thought the knives are very easy and quick to open any of them fit the definition of a knife as defined by the U.S. Change the blade Act 1958.
Columbia River Knife and Tool make good hunting knives, military knives. They also make many different tools that are of high quality. These knives are simple but creative at the same time. I love mine and I'm sure it would be more than happy with one too.
